As a Private Client Solicitor at the firm, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their legacy of delivering exceptional legal services while enjoying a collaborative and supportive work environment. Your responsibilities will include: Wills and Probate: Manage a diverse caseload, including wills, probate, and estate administration matters. Trusts and Estates: Provide expert advice on trusts, inheritance tax planning, and estate planning. Lasting Powers of Attorney: Guide clients through the creation and registration of lasting powers of attorney, ensuring their interests are safeguarded. Estate Planning: Work closely with clients to develop comprehensive estate plans, offering insightful and tailored solutions. Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong client relationships, delivering clear and practical advice tailored to individual needs. The ideal candidate will be a UK qualified Solicitor with a proven track record in Private Client law, will possess strong knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, and estate planning matters, alongside possess excellent client care skills with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services. You will also have the ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and efficiently. A membership of the Law Society Private Client Section and/or STEP qualification is advantageous. Desirable personal attributes include strong communication skills, both written and verbal, client-focused with a commitment to excellence, a collaborative team player with adaptability and a proactive approach, solution-oriented, and dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for clients. What is the role? The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a broad caseload of Private Client matters including the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, estate administration, estate planning, trusts and court of protection work, working in a busy department against a target. The role will also involve team management, proactive business development and networking. Who you are? You will ideally have in the region of 8 years PQE within Private Client with demonstrable experience in the administration of complex estates and estate planning including planning for high net worth individuals. You will be a people person who is positive, team-focused and passionate about providing excellent client service, and have management skills to be able to lead a team. You will be self-motivated and adept at building relationships; coupled with a professional, friendly and empathetic approach.
