The successful candidate will be comfortable working with collaborators to understand the whole context, develop strategies, and ensure that the delivery is scalable, reliable, and globally available.Responsibilities:- Architecture governance, principles, design standards, policies, and procedures that encourage innovation through automation & AI, whilst prioritising security, reliability, and scalability globally.- Highly automating and improving IT operational processes for service provisioning, configuration, and management.- Lead research and experimentation with new technologies, to seek opportunities to evolve Arm's capabilities.- Cooperating with engineering teams to fully understand current demand and propose/build solutions aligned with their needs.- Invest in others, including application development and infrastructure operations teams, to support services and processes in new ways.- Afford mentorship regarding solutions and concepts at various stages of the project (architecture, development, implementation).- Develop and further relationships with vendors to stay informed about new technologies and solutions.- Further a culture of innovation within the architecture and broader IT team.Required Skills and Experience:- Designing and implementing sophisticated enterprise-level solutions on hybrid infrastructure supporting both on premise and cloud hyperscalers.- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) through DevOps, and tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.- Tier 1 vendor technologies both on-premise and cloud (AWS, Azure & GCP), including Kubernetes & containers at scale.- Strong motivation and drive, with the ability to operate across multiple change projects simultaneously, including those that span geographies.- Understanding standards and frameworks for identifying and securing communication between application services.
