You will need to possess the following skills and experience: Strong working knowledge of Azure Security, with hands-on experience. Senior Information Security Analyst 2 days per week on-site in KENT £50,000 - £60,000 Main purpose of job: We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join the Information Security team to support us with operating and assuring the effectiveness of our security controls; supporting security governance and assurance activities; and providing security input and support to IT change initiatives. Responsible to: Information Security Manager Key Job Responsibilities: Provide security and risk assessment consultancy on projects and other formal workgroups and committees, making appropriate recommendations for risk mitigation to ensure that IT Security is considered in the design of new services or changes to existing services. Provide security expertise in the areas of cloud security on Azure and Microsoft 365, including both security and compliance controls and general input to the security architecture across the cloud estate. Perform security risk assessments, followed by initiating and managing appropriate remedial action, to ensure that IT infrastructure and application systems are adequately protected. Escalate unresolved security exposures, misuse of resources, or non-compliance situations to management. Ensure that Change Management processes include a security review and in particular sign off all Firewall rule set and networking changes to ensure the integrity of the clients network security is maintained. Support the information security team in day to day activities including security monitoring, incident management activities, and a future 24x7 support rota. Provide mentoring to junior security team members.
IT Security Analyst We are looking for someone with strong experience covering Azure and 365 security who can support the day-to-day activities of the security team. You will work on both BAU and Project work, monitor the health of systems, carry out routine checks and assist with training of staff.
