Job Title - Engineering Manager Salary - Up to £49,000 Location - Irlam Job Type - Permanent, Full Time Russell Taylor Group have exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our growing manufacturing client in the Irlam area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering team to carry out effective maintenance across the site. The Role Schedule and plan maintenance works. Develop and maintain work order request/PPM via CMMS software. Devise a strategy for the siter to ensure machine and equipment availability. Drive and manage KPI's, including downtime, PPM and budget. Organise maintenance training requirement in accordance with business needs and regulation. Maintaining a high safety standard to support site in achieving Zero TIR target. Develop and manage the maintenance standard. Management of capital investment projects, considering planning, execution, permits, method statements and safety practices. Supporting site manager to implement Opex related projects. Oversee the engineering budget and focus on cost-saving ideas by negotiating with NPR suppliers. Run effective LOTO system and adhere to site permits. The Person 5 years experience as Departmental Manager Knowledge of Rotating Equipment, Stationary Equipment Vessels, Tanks and Hoppers. HNC/HND in mechanical, process or chemical engineering.
