The Role
The role is to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Ocean Import Department.
Heavily involved with queries on a day to day basis, managing all communication related to work-files, ensuring shipments are not left pending for too long.
Duties
Preparing pre-alerts, liaising with customers to prepare work-files.
They are looking for someone who has strong import / export understanding and someone who has experience in time critical / pharma shipments.
You will be involved in arranging the transport of goods and liaising with handling agents and airlines and making bookings for the shipments, You will be dealing with all modes of transport and using Cargowise system.
NEW POSITION - We are recruiting for a company who are looking for a TEAM LEADER to assist with overseeing their pharma operations department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and planning vehicles for import collections and export deliveries, ensuring all daily collections and delivery requirements are met, and maintaining compliance with all legal requirements.
Working Monday to Friday on early (6am - 2pm) and late (2pm - 10pm) shifts.
