THE ROLE Provide expert advice and assurance services to clients on IFRS 9 Financial Instruments, including classification and measurement, impairment, and hedge accounting. Conduct detailed reviews of clients' financial statements and risk management processes to ensure compliance with IFRS 9 requirements. Develop and implement methodologies and models for expected credit loss (ECL) calculations and impairment assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including audit, advisory, and tax, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Stay current with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices related to IFRS 9 and financial reporting.
