Financial Planning Administrator - Gosforth Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) This is a full-time office-based role working in a friendly and supportive team environment, with opportunities for career growth. Our client, a reputable financial planning practice in Gosforth is seeking a highly-motivated and organised Financial Planning Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to a team of financial planners and paraplanners, ensuring that clients receive a high level of service and attention. Responsibilities: Undertaking a range of administrative tasks to support the financial planning team, including managing client files and scheduling appointments. Handling telephone and email enquiries acting as first point of contact to clients, taking them through the financial planning process and keeping them informed along the way. Maintain accurate client records and databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Support the financial planners in the preparation of client reports, presentations, and other financial planning materials. Liaising with product providers and other third parties. Working with various platforms and cashflow tools to ensure colleagues are adequately prepared for all meetings and any work on behalf of clients is completed. Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, contributing to the overall success of the practice. Requirements Previous experience in an administrative role within the financial services industry. Knowledge of financial planning concepts and terminology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent numeracy and literacy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management and organisation skills.
