In upholding the integrity and accuracy of the team you will be expected to provide strategic aims through positive financial solutions and support the Financial Controller when needed. The role will be responsible for a wide range of financial operations and processes. The role supports the Financial Controller in the complex monthly routines, financial process development and accurate presentation of figures and reporting on. Responsibilities: Operational duties and responsibilities Finalise the monthly management accounting process to production of consolidated group P&L and Balance Sheet, examining for discrepancies. Support CFO in reporting against projects, cost budgets and business units, and provide other ad-hoc financial analysis as required. Work with Financial Controller to fulfil audit requirements and preparation of statutory accounts. Ownership of complex monthly accounting routines including: Support the Financial Controller in day-to-day financial operations, providing cover for other ream member duties where necessary. Channel cost allocations, accruals, and prepayments for budgets. Internal cost accounting and reporting Social Creates and maintains a positive working environment at all times, with a polite, honest and friendly approach. Within this role you will supervise the Assistant Accountant and Finance Assistant in the day-to-day finance operations and overseeing of accurate reporting and control of commercial and credit risks. Supporting the Finance Director in the providing of timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities Operational duties and responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported and comply with relevant regulations. Manage regular stock and general supplier payments and expenses within out company polices and limits, flagging and resolving any issues arising. Manage all regular tax and regulatory/compliance tasks including responsibility for corporation tax, VAT and P11d's etc. Preparation and checking of quarterly VAT returns for approval before submission within relevant deadlines and any other related statutory returns.
