This is a Part Time Role working 30 hours Sunday 10 am 7 pm, Monday 10 am -7pm, Tuesday 10-4:30 pm and Wednesday 10-7 pm
You will be expected to ensure our customers' needs are exceeded at all times while working in a number of areas of the store, so no two days will be the same.
The role objective is to ensure that construction, demolition and decommissioning works are carried out to specification and by safe working methods.
The role holder will be required to supervise the activities of personnel carrying out works for UNS (which includes employees, ASW and contract workers) on a day to day basis to ensure that all activities are executed in a safe, cost effective and reliable manner inline with legislative and company procedures.
The role holder shall work closely with the wider UNS team to support the characterisation, monitoring and transfer of waste.
Provides technical support to the the wider team which includes but is not limited to:
Assist with Planning and scheduling work supporting the wider team in delivering small sized projects and work packages as part of the wider B300 programme.
JOB PURPOSE
To provide a range of technical and practical project support to the UNS Project & Construction Team, including but not limited to assistance to the Construction Site Team and their day to day deliverables, ensuring the construction site and working area is kept in a secure and safe condition, escort duties, control of transport, assistance to the Clerks of Works in respect of quality records & checking, administrative support , rollout and maintenance of the construction team's Obeya Centres and other activities undertaken by the department.
