Reed Tutors are currently recruiting for several SEMH/SEN Home Tutors.
The role itself will be working with children who live in Gloucester/Cheltenham, who access education outside of normal' schooling.
This could be children who are too anxious to attend mainstream school, or display some challenging behaviour, or have been excluded, or have medical difficulties, or are in between settings (so have been pulled from mainstream and are awaiting an SEN school placement).
We are looking for passionate SEN/SEND tutors to join our mission and help transform the lives of vulnerable learners.
At Prospero Teaching, we are dedicated to improving the educational experiences of young people with Special Education Needs (SEN) Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).
Provide high-quality one-on-one tutoring sessions to students in up to 15 hours a week per student.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
