You will play a pivotal role in delivering, managing, and maintaining a secure ICT Network & Comms estate, ensuring a seamless experience for our Company, Client Councils, and their residents. The role is based in our Technical Services team, and you will be at the heart of providing essential support functions and aiding the delivery of ICT & Digital services across multiple organisations. You will have the opportunity to grow your existing networking knowledge with other aspects of ICT within the teams functions, such as VMWARE, MS365, SANs and Security products. Working as a Senior Technical Services Engineer, we need candidates who have: Experience of designing and maintaining a secure network environment Experience in managing and maintaining next gen firewalls (Forcepoint preferred) Cisco Routing & Switching skills to an advanced level Knowledge of Proxy Solutions Implemented and managed DNS, DHCP & NPS Experience of Cloud Telephony systems i.e. Ring Central is advantageous, but all training can be provided Networking certifications such as CCNA or similar is desirable, equivalent substantial experience will be considered!
