Reporting to: National Supply & Install Projects Manager Location: Crawley Hours of work: Mon - Thur: 8.45am - 4.55pm, Fri: 8.45am - 4.25pm Salary: £23k - £25k, negotiable depending on experience, plus company benefits. Job Profile: As the Project Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the Projects Team leader and National Supply & Install Projects Manager. You'll take responsibility for the management of projects call off's & administration, to ensure that everything is in place for ventilation installation projects to run smoothly and profitably. You have strong organizational & time management skills, communications skills; verbal and written, and excellent customer service and stakeholder skills to ensure projects are delivered on time. Technical knowledge is desirable but not essential. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment juggling several tasks at the same time maintaining accuracy and quality. You'll have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel. As a Project Co-ordinator your responsibilities will include: Ensure all necessary digital paperwork & orders are in place for projects prior to commencement, and on completion of the project. Ensure sub-contractors have a full set of drawings, health & safety documents and all relevant information required to commence the installation. Ensure all site material delivery requests are acted on according to procedures, and orders placed on Epicor system, and in the plot log, ready for despatch. Review all shipping notifications & advise sub-contractors of any items not dispatched. Identify any potential problems regarding materials and labour requirements throughout each project. Identify any potential site issues and arrange a visit by the Installation Manager to resolve. Understand how to read design drawings which will be covered as part of the training for the role. Process the purchase orders & assist with the sub-contractors' invoices to ensure they are submitted to the finance department as required. To be successful in this role you will need: Excellent communication skills, at all levels; written and verbal. Proven ability to meet deadlines. High level skills in planning, analysis, prioritization, and co-ordination. Some experience in project coordination desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively. Ability to gather and document requirements accurately from stakeholders. Work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative work environment. To apply standard operating procedures (SOP's) and processes. Confident in making decisions under-pressure. To be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Good skills in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook & Microsoft 365. Knowledge of construction industry & good commercial awareness will be of benefit.
