This role sits within the heart of the company's indirect procurement function, and you will play a crucial role within the procurement team. Your new role The IT Category Procurement Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of successful category strategies within the information systems and technology spend. With responsibility for the company's IT spend across the UK & Ireland, you will collaborate with your procurement colleagues in other countries to ensure that category strategies are aligned and to ensure a consistent and effective strategy is in place and optimum value for money is delivered within the tech areas of spend. You will proactively build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders across the UK&I, including supplier relationship managers and business partners across the company. You will also build effective relationships with key technology suppliers and develop a sourcing strategy which generates cost savings and improves efficiency. In this role, you will also provide management reporting on the performance of the IT category.
