Howdens Joinery is looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor with a thorough generalist HR background to join our Manufacturing site in Runcorn, Cheshire.
This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity on a part-time basis of 22.5 hours per week over three days, with the possibility of a longer-term or permanent appointment, and a fantastic opportunity to join a successful FTSE100 company, working closely with the HR Business Partner, to deliver a first-class HR service to the site.

As a People Partner within the Human Resources department, you will serve as an operational HR partner to business units, providing comprehensive HR support and guidance.
Your primary focus will be on aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting the overall wellbeing of employees.
The People Partner plays a key role in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and various HR functions.
To work with the HR Business Partners to help provide a full HR operational advisory service to the Residential business unit across the whole of the UK.
This is a broad generalist role encompassing day-to-day HR and more ad-hoc project work as required.

As a key member of our team, you'll provide first-line HR advice and guidance, supporting and coaching managers in line with our HR policies and procedures across all sites.
