Working alongside the Registration Service Manager and Superintendent Registrar, you will play an important role in providing frontline reception work to the registration office, greeting visitors, answering the phone and booking appointments Temporary until 28/06/24 with potential to extend or go permanent Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid break) Pay Rate - £14.18 per hour Start Date as soon as possible Work Schedule fully office based Location Beaconsfield Old Town Registration Office, 29 Windsor End, Beaconsfield HP9 2JJ About the role As a Registration Support Officer, you will primarily cover frontline reception work, greeting visitors and helping with their enquiries where possible, and answering telephone. You will be required to book birth and death registration appointments and pass callers or messages onto other staff as appropriate. You will also be asked to do some initial work in the preparation of copy birth, death and marriage certificates. You will be dealing with customers at the very best and worst moments in their lives and so providing excellent customer service is a critical part of this role.
