Showroom Host - Temp - Poole - £11.44 per hour We are looking for a temporary Showroom Host for our client based in Poole to assist them across various dates. You will be greeting guests and ensuring the showroom is kept clean and tidy. Main responsibilities: Be first point of contact for all visitors to the showroom and ensure the highest standard of courtesy and efficiency in customer contact and communication. Advise relevant staff of their arrival and ensure they are directed to the correct person or department (Sales/ Service/ Parts). Ensure knowledge of staff movements in & out of the building. Provide teas/coffees/ refreshments for visitors and ensure the Tea/Coffee station is kept clean and tidy. Maintain the reception desk, and make sure the seating area is kept clean and brochures are provided. Regularly inspect the washrooms to ensure that they are clean and fresh and being cleaned to required standard. Responsible for booking of the boardroom and provide refreshments for boardroom meetings. Take customers details and hand out brochures when required. Report any maintenance issues to the General Sales Manager Report all walk-in sales enquiries on the dealer management system. Help to maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the display cabinets. Tiger Private are looking for experienced and enthusiastic couple manage one of the UK's most exclusive shoot lodges for the season (September February) One of the couple will be an experienced chef, the other will be our lodge host you would, between you, be responsible for managing an individual lodge overseen by the Hospitality Manager and Lodges Head Chef. The Chef: Creating dishes for 8-16 guests with some exceptions for slightly larger groups. The position requires a strong background as a head chef or senior sous chef in a rosette or above environment with a strong eye to detail, an excellent understanding of fresh food is a must, clean and precise preparation methods are expected at all times and quality presentation to the final dish leaving the kitchen. The format of the breakfast menu and evening dinner menu will be provided to you and ordering will be done by consulting with the head chef, but everything else is in your control. You have the freedom to be creative and are expected to be autonomous with time management, creating and preparing your own menus based on the customers' requests. You will have great understanding of all dietary requirements and will manage and react to your guests needs whenever required. You will be confident in running your own operation and have an excellent understanding of Environmental health procedures, ensuring your kitchen and working areas are always up to standard with the relevant paperwork being kept up to date. This will also be provided for you by the head chef. The Host: The lodge host will be immaculately presented, professional and friendly. The role will involve looking after our highly valued guests, making them feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Experienced in the service of bar drinks, wine, and champagne. Basic cocktail making would be advantageous. Breakfast layup and service Be familiar with formal dinner service. Table layup and preparation. A keen eye for diligence throughout the lodge communal areas Able to manage any unforeseen circumstances in a professional manner.
