You'll support the Head Pastry Chef in all areas of the kitchen including menus, rotas and team training. Coordinating our Trade Dry Hire Business and advising clients on the best practices and use of our inventory where applicable. Coordinating our Venue AV Hire and Support Service. Quoting clients and specifying kit lists. Producing daily schedules for our Venue Technicians by providing detailed information and plans where necessary. Occasionally meeting with clients in person to discuss their requirements. Providing support to our Venue Technicians. Assisting with larger projects where the business requires. Helping to maintain and expand the client base of the company, by taking part in developing sales and marketing materials, and occasionally attending trade shows and events. Occasionally assisting with on-site work and other tasks as the business requires. QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY ATTRIBUTES Technical experience in delivering AV, Sound and Lighting support, particularly in the corporate events or performing arts sectors. Excellent communication skills. Meticulous planning and attention to detail. High standard of personal presentation. Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and be flexible in order to provide support for last minute requests and changes. Ability to problem solve and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Can-do attitude. Good IT Skills Full UK Driving Licence. TRAINING & PROGRESSION On-going training will be provided as the job role requires. Career progression within our expanding company would be available for proactive individuals. WORKING HOURS The ideal candidate will be comfortable with an offset 5-day week of Tuesday to Saturday. Whilst this is a desired aspect of an applicant, inability to do this will not result in an applicant being declined an interview. An alternative work pattern of Monday to Friday will still be considered. HOLIDAYS 28 days per year After 3 years continuous service you will receive your birthday off (day off can be taken within 7 days of your birthday) After 5 years continuous service you will receive a further day's holiday
