Residential Deputy Manager £30,000 per annum Earls Colne Essex Meridian Business Support is currently recruiting for a Residential Deputy Manager for a national private healthcare provider for their home based in Earls Colne in Essex. As our Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing operations within the home in order to reach or exceed goals while assuring the provision of high-quality care. You will be in charge of overseeing the care staff and will be expected to assume full management in the event that the Home Manager is not present. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of Level 3 in Health and Social Care and experience working as a Deputy Manager in a residential Home setting. As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the leadership, direction and performance of 8 Supported living & residential services across Essex and Suffolk. You will have a key role in quality monitoring, staff resources, training, budgets, reporting on the performance and achievements of your teams and celebrating success. Key Responsibilities of an Area Manager: Lead and develop a culture that values the very highest standards of safety, quality and excellent service user care. Insert measures into Services which guarantee the high standards of health and safety; actioning any identified areas of concern as a priority. Lead and manage the Management Team across all aspects of day-to-day business deliverables through supervision, effective management, personal development, retention, and succession planning. Monitoring performance in relation to quality and key performance indicators to agreed targets for care standards and quality. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulatory bodies and company policies and procedures, and be accountable for ensuring findings from internal site quality inspections are reviewed and actioned as appropriate. Key requirements an Area Manager must have: Multi-site management experience or preferably experience as an Area/Regional/Operations manager across services for adults with Learning Disabilities. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Strong leadership skills and the ability to deal with staffing on all levels. Driving License and car.
