Role Overview: As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and informative History lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will have the opportunity to inspire a passion for History and support students in their academic journey. Knowledge of Key Stage 5 History is desirable but not essential. This role is vital in contributing to the continued success of our school and the achievement of our students. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stages 3 to 5. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of students and facilitate their progress. Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback to support their development. Collaborate with colleagues within the History department to share best practices and resources. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching History across Key Stages 3 to 5. Knowledge of Key Stage 5 History is desirable but not essential. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
