To Lead, plan and be responsible for the Highways and Transport department that support and underpin the successful delivery of corporate priorities and outcomes.
As a highway inspector, you will play a vital role in assessing the condition of our road network.
You will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying any defects or hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
This role involves extensive walking, as you will cover significant distances each day to thoroughly inspect designated areas.
An opportunity has arisen to appoint a hardworking and self-motivated individual with a broad experience of Highways Development Management who will deal with providing the Highway Authority's advice on Planning Applications to the Local Planning Authorities and deal with all aspects of processing S106, sponsoring Section 38 and 278 Agreements.
