Freelance SHEQ/Health & Safety Manager required for water utilities contractor working on the Midlands section of HS2.
As the project SHEQ your main duties and responsibilities will be to advise construction managers/supervisors, site operatives in regard to all health & safety requirements, regular work inspections and preparation and submittal of site inspections, review and approval of RAMS, verification that temporary works are implemented safely, investigations of any incidents/accidents identifying root cause and the recommendations to prevent recurrence.
Supporting the main JV contractor you will be working across multiple utility projects across the Midlands on a variety of schemes which can range from street works to green field sites.
To carry out maintenance both pre-planned, remedial, and re-active works to the company's substantial Electrical infrastructure using company asset management software.
Procurement, Stock reconciliation, Sales Order Processing, Invoicing, Disconnections, Audit Requests, Warehouse cover, adherence to processes and other logistics duties as required.
The candidate will need to take responsibility for these processes and be able to manage them day to day with little supervision.

Our client based in the Birmingham area is looking for an Airfreight Operations Manager, this role is office based and working hours are: Monday-Friday 0830-1700 with 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
You will be working within the Airfreight Operations Department and report to the Senior Operation's Manager.
Essential Experience
Minimum of 7 years' experience working within the Freight Forwarding Industry with a strong focus on Management and Service Excellence for Airfreight shipments.
