As an RTC Process Clerk, you will provide administrative support in relation to Road Traffic Collisions, helping to ensure that cases in the Criminal Justice System are progressed effectively. Join a dynamic and inclusive team dedicated to serving the community Work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same Develop your skills and knowledge within the police industry Make a positive impact by supporting the justice system Enjoy a competitive salary range of £23,121 to £24,462 per annum Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service, assisting both internal and external parties with timely and professional communication Maintain accurate computerised records, ensuring all RTC files and enquiries are properly documented Keep victims and offenders informed throughout the process by generating necessary letters and notifications Prepare and despatch correspondence and photographs related to collision reports Process diversion offers and collaborate with external agencies to complete necessary checks Administer summary file preparation, including evidence review, Court date booking, and issuing of Summons/Postal Requisitions Handle incoming Crown Prosecution Service upgrade requests, tasking full upgrades when required Undertake the administration of Statutory Declarations, Appeals, Re-opens, and Disqualifications as directed Complete all cases, including processing outstanding correspondence and informing relevant parties of Court results Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of people and handle sensitive information sensitively Proven clerical experience in a busy office environment, utilising windows based computer applications Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Sound decision-making abilities within established procedures and guidance Experience working in diverse teams and building effective working relationships Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances Awareness of equality and diversity issues If you are a dedicated and organised individual with a passion for justice, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
