We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Speech and Language Therapist (experience equivalent to Band 8a) to join our supportive therapy team at the well sought-after Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit in London.

Blackheath is a 36 bed centre providing specialist person-centred rehabilitation, care and support for adults with either a brain injury or other complex neurological condition.
This will include both directly providing activities and involving other staff and volunteers in the programme.
We have wonderful opportunity for a full time Activities co-ordinator to work as part of the Activities Team to plan, organise and implement a social and recreational activity programme within the Centre and the wider community.

Introduction to the Role
In this role, you will provide an occupational therapy service to service users with complex needs within the neighbourhood community mental health team.
You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do.
We'll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
You will work with all internal teams to facilitate patient centred care that enriches the quality of our client's lives and enables them to live within their own homes whatever their abilities.
Utilising your experience, the Care Coordinator will be responsible for completing team rotas to ensure that the care delivered is of the highest standard.
