What do you need? Previous experience working within a residential children's home environment NVQ Level 3 caring for children and young people / children's residential workforce. Related knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures. A strong people manager with a hands on approach. Experience of budgets and rota's. Full driving licence is essential. Job Overview: We are seeking a friendly, well presented individual to join our small team in our family run jewellers based in Rustington. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. Alongside this, you will be required to take photographs of stock items to upload to the website along with detailed descriptions. You will also be advertising and promoting our stock on social media including Facebook and Instagram and responding to online questions and enquiries. Duties: Greet customers and assist them with finding products Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently Keep the store clean and presentable at all times Handle customer enquiries in store and online Photographing stock items to a high standard and uploading them to the website and onto social media platforms precisely and efficiently (training will be given) Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous as is social media/online marketing Jewellery knowledge would be a bonus but full training will be given Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers Basic maths skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts An excellent standard of written English is a must Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously You will be required to work some Saturdays and the flexibility to cover holidays/absence as needed We offer competitive rates of pay and salary will be dependent upon age and experience.
