As the Mental Health Act Administrator, you will work as part of the administration team at a service that supports women over the age of 18 who have complex emotional and mental health problems associated with significant risk behaviours, where you will work 37.5 hours a week (Maternity Cover Potentially 12 months) ensuring the department upholds a confidential and efficient service in accordance with the Mental Health Act 1983 (amended November 2007).
Are you an experienced administrator ideally with knowledge of the Mental Health Act or a qualification in it - looking for a new challenge?
You will be responsible for managing and analysing Mental Health Act correspondence and documentation, this includes undertaking assessment requests, transfer of authority, consent to treatments, renewals of detention, consent to treatments and arranging hearings, tribunals and appeals.
