As the Health & Safety Manager, you will deliver a proactive health and safety service across a London-wide cluster of residential build-to-rent properties.

A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Health & Safety Manager at Heathrow Airport to assist the existing onsite team regarding onsite processes and procedures.6-month contract initially, Inside IR35
ResponsibilitiesOversee and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to and that all records are accurate and kept up to date.Supporting the Operations Manager & Project Managers in identifying hazards and managing risks.Educate employees on required safety standards within the workplace.Install and nurture a strong H&S culture within the team and 3rd party contractorsBe an initial point of contact for all HSEQ matters.Driving process adherence and good practice for all HSEQ related topics.Support with completion of incident investigations, near-miss reports and corrective actions.Undertake routine site inspections and internal audits.Participate in external audits to maintain standards and accreditations.Continually assess existing processes and practices and recommend improvements.Ensure all Health and Safety records and documentation are up-to-date and accurate.Provide recommendations for improving safety in the workplace across all locations.Conducting detailed DSE and manual handling assessments when needed.Maintain online E-learning programmes.Organising first aid and site-specific fire training and maintaining records.Responsible for workplace mental health awareness.Undertake specific risk assessments.
To join a dynamic team based at Heathrow, overseeing the H&S across the business and projects delivered within the account, which will include the main site, Heathrow Airport, and providing assistance where required, on ad-hoc projects supporting other areas of the business.
This role is required to ensure that all statutory compliance obligations and requirements across the Group are met and consistent with up to date legislation, health & safety and best practice in relation to; gas safety and servicing requirements, electrical testing, FRA, Water, Lifts, Asbestos and other related services including solar and renewable energy assets.
The successful candidate will work effectively with key internal colleagues and external partners and stakeholders to ensure they contribute to enabling the Group to fulfil all of its property related compliance, health and safety, and other statutory and regulatory obligations.
Our Compliance team currently contains 3 staff members, and this role will be a valuable addition to our growing and changing team.

Must have worked as a Medical Administrator or Medical Secretary either from Private Healthcare or NHS.
