The Operations Manager role involves responsibility for monitoring and coordinating of facilities contracts, coordinating the use of the site and buildings, acting as transport, lettings and health and safety manager, and ensuring that all trips and visits are conducted in a safe manner.

To lead, manage and direct the strategy and internal governance for the delivery of corporate health and safety (CH&S), emergency planning and business continuity across the Council and its partner services.

To organise, and supervise all repair projects in an efficient manner, to achieve quoted profit margins, whilst ensuring that all personnel are working in accordance with the company health and safety policy.

To thoroughly know and understand the Company Health and Safety policy and procedures and to ensure that Repairs Engineers apprentices and sub-contractor follow these.

Responsible for overseeing the repair engineers & sub-contractors, organising labour, materials, RAMs & O & M manuals when requested.

The Registered Manager is accountable for delivering high quality care to the children and young people resident within the home.
