This Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role will give you experience working with vulnerable students, increasing their engagement, attainment and life chances.

Our clients are a special school for secondary pupils from Years 7 to 11 who have learning and additional needs.
You would report to the Assistant Headteacher and be working as part of the Pastoral Support Team to promote the welfare and well-being of students by ensuring good behaviour and the provision of a safe environment.
They require a Student Welfare Co-ordinator to work term time only, 3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background, be an excellent classroom practitioner who is capable of inspiring and motivating students and have experience of working with children with special educational needs (please note this does not need to be within a special school setting).

The school are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and innovative teacher with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to achieving high standards who can teach a range of subjects, primarily English (roughly 50%).
