Head of MFL Department Location: Doncaster Job Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (1 year starting September 2024) Teaching Responsibilities: French or Spanish (both would be perfect) We are inviting applications for the position of Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Department at our dynamic secondary school in Doncaster. Day to Day of the role: Lead the MFL department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained. Teach French or Spanish classes to a range of abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4. Develop and implement curriculum strategies within the MFL department. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students within the department. Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and to monitor and support student progress. Be accountable for student progress and development within the subject area. Required Skills & Qualifications: UK Qualified Teacher Status (UKQTS) with a degree in French or Spanish or related subject. Proven experience in teaching French or Spanish at secondary level. Ability to teach and lead across all key stages. Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A track record of delivering positive student outcomes. Ability to inspire and motivate students and staff alike. Support Worker Location: Leeds Position: Days - Full time / Part time available Pay: £11.44- £16.70 We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to work in Headingley and the surrounding areas. You will be supporting children in mainstream residential units and learning disability homes. We are seeking patient, kind and resilient Support Workers to assist the young people with their everyday tasks including being involved (and enjoying!) the activities they like.
