We are currently working with a Local Authority in the South West who are looking to recruit 2 Reward Advisors to join the HR Job Families team to provide high quality, best value, commercially aware HR service to managers and members of the Local Authority in support of their business plans. Jobs: Senior Reward Advisor and Reward Advisor Duration: 3 months initially, likely to extend Rate: £280 - £500 per day dependent on role Site presence: 1 day on site per week minimum Senior Reward Advisor Support the Head of Reward, Relations and Policy to deliver the Councils Reward Strategy providing a high quality, best value, commercially aware HR service to Managers and Members of the Local Authority This will involve giving advice on a wide range of issues to ensure Equal Pay legislation and policy compliance to avoid potential legal claims and maintain good employee relations. This is a delivery focussed role within the HR Operations team and will support the development of reward, recognition, pay and benefits, which supports the Council in becoming an employer of choice. Reward Advisor As part of a team of Reward specialist provide a high quality, best value, commercially aware HR service to managers and Members of the Local Authority in support of their business plans. With the support of the Senior Reward Adviser lead the operation of job evaluation for the whole authority. Ensuring the Council have a modern reward offer, which considers legislation and organisational priorities. Support the implementation of national pay awards and policy development and changes. This role will play a key role advising on a wide range of issues to ensure Equal Pay legislation and policy compliance to avoid potential legal claims and maintain good employee relations Requirement Managing job evaluation processes Policy development The resolution of reward related issues using a pragmatic approach within the framework of current employment law Proven experience of supporting pay & grading reviews Delivering practical HR solutions Must have experience working within a Local Authority CIPD or equivalent experience At Venn Group, we endeavour to respond to all applications. Pay rate: £12.50 per hour & Sleep in rate £5.56 (WEEKLY PAY) Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday 10:00am 20:00pm then Sleep in. Location: Taunton Requirements: Previous healthcare experience and a full UK driver's license. Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in/around the Taunton area and able to commute.This role will be working with a gentleman with learning disability, Autism & Cerebral Palsy in his own home. He enjoys going out into the community daily. We will provide staff on a 1:1 24/7 basis. Key Responsibilities Support Workers cover all manners of support for others from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping. Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members. Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy. Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided. Aid with light household chores which may include cooking, cleaning. Helping to plan and organise leisure opportunities. Enabling access to the community Skills, Knowledge and Expertise UK driver's license Previous Autism experience desirable Previous learning disability experience desirable Enthusiastic and willingness to learn. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support. Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required.
