Due to an internal promotion, they are on the lookout for a strategic leader to head up their Product Management team, focusing on creating and nurturing opportunities that captivate and engage their customer base, while ensuring profitability and sustainability. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Compliance, Sourcing, and Technical teams to cultivate a strong supply chain that supports both branded and proprietary product lines, ensuring a blend of marketability, variety, and adherence to standards. Day to Day of the Role: Spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive product strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders. Lead the product lifecycle management across diverse categories, aligning with the company's strategic goals. Develop and sustain a robust, transparent supply chain network spanning the UK, Europe, and the Far East, optimizing commercial opportunities. Scout and secure new sourcing partnerships to broaden the product range and stimulate business expansion. Interface with creative and operational teams to devise innovative product solutions that enhance profitability and meet market demands. Participate in international forums to integrate global insights into category management, driving innovation and profitability. Expand and refine the portfolio of brands and licensed products to deliver competitive advantages and improved margins. Craft and implement marketing strategies to elevate brand visibility and foster customer loyalty. Lead and contribute to strategic projects and sustainability initiatives, ensuring the company's long-term commercial viability and commitment to positive change. Cultivate a unified team ethos, delivering high-quality products on schedule and upholding company standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Substantial experience in a senior buying or product/category management capacity, with a focus on sourcing from the Far East. Demonstrated expertise in supplier collaboration, negotiation, and contract management. A flair for creativity, coupled with strong analytical and technological capabilities. Exceptional leadership skills and a collaborative team approach. Clear and persuasive communication and presentation abilities. Skilled in stakeholder management and influence across various levels of an organisation. A proactive attitude towards change and innovation.
