Your New Role In your new role as Head of HR, you will support and enable the organisation to achieve its vision and objectives, through its people, by providing a broad range of professional People services. You will ensure function wide clarity and communication of strategic objectives and expectations, taking personal responsibility for dealing with people issues in the team. As Head of HR, you will provide strategic leadership to the HR Partners and Shared Service Team to ensure delivery of the functional plan, holding direct responsibility for 4 direct reports and supporting in overseeing their functions. To be a success within this role, it is essential you have strong leadership skills, the ability to build positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and demonstratable experience operating at a senior level in a large, complex unionised environment. What You Will Need Proven experievnce of Human Resource management at senior level, utilising a Business Partnering model and HR Shared Services model. Exceptional organisational, influencing & negotiation skills with proven leadership capabilities Programme & Project management. Demonstrable experience of managing people, budgets and external providers/partners to ensure best value and outcomes. In depth knowledge of current employment legislation and its application. Demonstrable experience of leading and managing Employee Relations initiatives, including negotiation with trade union representatives. Ability to Influence others and gain their commitment and enthusiasm. Ability to actively seek, identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. Morson are delighted to be partnering with one of our key North West clients as they recruit for a Head of HR Delivery to join their HR team. This is a full-time position which will be for 12 months. Salary is between £69,000 - £75,000 dependant on experience. Our client offers a hybrid working policy which is the requirement to be in the Manchester City Centre HQ 2 days per week. This is a very varied and challenging role as the Head of HR will lead, develop and inspire the HR delivery team covering a range of HR specialisms. The Head of HR will be part of the People Leadership Team, therefore play a crucial role in the development of the overall People Strategy. It is also key that the Head of HR ensures consistent and professional HR advice and support is provided across the organisation.
