Head of Reward / Senior Manager - Reward based in the Midlands - Birmingham, Warwick, Coventry Paying between £80k - £90k Permanent LHH have partnered with a leading private sector business based in the Midlands to search for a highly skilled and experienced Reward & Benefits expert. As the Head of Reward, you will play a critical role within the HR function, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits strategies aligned with our client's business objectives. In this stand-alone role, partnering with senior HR colleagues, you will have a deep understanding and knowledge of creating remuneration approaches that support our client's ambition. This pivotal role requires you to work closely with the HR Director and their team in shaping the organisation's approach to compensation and benefits, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of fairness, transparency, and equity. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with the organisation's business goals and objectives. Conduct regular market analyses to ensure the competitiveness of compensation packages and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary. Lead the job benchmarking process to ensure accurate and equitable job evaluations across the organisation. Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of colleague benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Analyse compensation and benefits data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to compensation and benefits. Requirements: Extensive experience in compensation, benefits, or a related HR function. Deep understanding and knowledge of compensation principles, practises, and methodologies, including job benchmarking. Experience designing and implementing comprehensive benefits programmes, including health insurance, retirement plans, or supporting wellbeing initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data to drive decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. This position is based in the Policy and Public Affairs (PPA) team and reports to the Director of PPA. As part of the External Affairs directorate, we aim to radically improve healthcare for women and girls by influencing positive change within UK Governments. This is a great opportunity to be part of a small but highly impactful team, taking the lead on issues that are central to the wellbeing of women and girls. You will be responsible for the delivery of the RCOG's policy strategy and operational plan, working closely with colleagues in PPA, Communications and other teams across the College. You will ensure that the RCOG is at the forefront of policy debates which affect women's health, and you will work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including women and the RCOG membership, to develop policy solutions to improve the health of women and girls. Responsibilities: Lead on the development of evidence-based policies on women's health issues and strategic College priorities. Provide expert advice to the RCOG President, Officers, Chief Executive and senior managers on political and policy matters. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policy makers healthcare professionals, women and the wider public. Line manage the Policy and Public Affairs Officer.
