This role will involve managing the operational and financial aspects of the business and working closely with the business owners to make strategic decisions aimed at facilitating the continued growth and expansion of the company. Collaborating internally to optimise the efficiency of the existing finance system (Sage 200) and eventually, leading a project to upgrade the Finance system. Reviewing existing processes, identifying gaps and areas for improvement, and collaborating closely with the Director to establish effective processes. Overseeing the day to day operation of the business to ensure optimal performance and productivity. Managing a team of 18 including the Financial Controller and Business Support Team. The Role Reporting to the Outsourcing service line lead and managing the payroll team of 20, taking full operational ownership of the payroll function across the group. Working closely with the Integration Director to support the rollout of the service line run book. Your key responsibilities will include: Ownership of a separate Profit & Loss account with an expectation that there will be incremental margin improvement year-on-year. Set the strategy for and manage multi-cycle payrolls in a timely, accurate and efficient manner, ensuring that all customer, HMRC, RTI and other Statutory reporting deadlines are met.
