We are recruiting for Head of Business Development to join an outstandingemployer based in the Bedford area. The company is committed to delivering an exemplaryservice and combine this with the use of digital communications. Having the knowhow to manage, execute and deliver all three event models: in person, virtual and hybrid meetings and events and this capability enables clients to effectively push their events into the future. The role will be based in their offices 1 - 2 days a week and the remainder will be out and about visiting clients across the UK. The Head of Business Development will be responsible for proactively driving revenue and growth from new clients in both the corporate and association market. You will also maintain revenue from existing clients whilst developing the team to support revenue generation and meeting activity targets and KPIs. Implementation of Business Strategies: Help implement strategies developed by senior management, ensuring they are executed effectively and align with the company's objectives. Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of service delivery. Reporting and Feedback: Regularly report on progress and outcomes of business development activities to the Head of Business Development, and suggest improvements based on practical experiences. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other teams within the company, such as marketing and sales, to ensure a unified approach to business development. Project Management: Manage and oversee specific business development projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets set by senior management. Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Essential Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or Marketing or a related field (or qualified by experience) Desirable Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning Experience Essential Proven Experience in Business Development: Extensive track record in business development, particularly within financial services or a related industry. Client Relationship Management: Demonstrable experience in managing and growing client relationships at a senior level. Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of financial services and an awareness of digital marketing within a regulated environment.
