As a Bank Kitchen Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help to provide the first-class food and hospitality that enable us to give our residents exceptional all-round care and support.
Providing cover for any planned or unplanned absences, you'll help to produce meals and create a fulfilling dining experience for every resident.
Assist where required in resident's health and well-being including nutrition, medication/creams, mobility, shopping/health appointments and supporting/welcome their visitors.
Provide and deliver a comprehensive care and support service including all elements of personal care and hygiene, while maintaining independence and dignity at all times.
Ensure the social support of residents - e.g., encouraging/facilitating their interests and meaningful activities.

Support the Lead in ensuring shifts are covered and worked; rota coordination; payroll; timesheets and signing off care certificates.
Support the Domiciliary Care Lead in the day to day running of a comprehensive care and support service including assessing residents' care needs and formulating care packages.
Maintains record and consistently works in line with regulatory bodies - for example but not exclusive to GDPR, CQC, HSE, Local Authority expectations etc.
