Working as part of our team and shadowing the Senior and Fire Door Inspectors, you will work to maintain our residents' homes and will be trained in the management and inspection of fire doors and compartments, ensuring they are compliant and meet quality standards and specifications. You will keep proficient records of all inspections, recommendations and remedial works and work collaboratively with internal teams and contractors to effectively resolve repairs and issues. You will also undertake smaller projects in relation to Fire Doors within Building Safety alongside your other duties. You will be required to undertake training on job commencement or working towards the following qualifications: certified Level 3 Fire Door Inspection Scheme or equivalent. You will also ideally have experience of health and safety for residential buildings, be able to engage with customers/residents and demonstrate the flexibility to travel from site to site, where public transport is not always readily available.
