A team of approximately 21, the HR Group is responsible for supporting all aspects of the employee lifecycle at SRUC and provides advice and guidance on matters relating to their employment, including staff recruitment, promotion, appraisals, terms and conditions, contracts of employment etc. This role sits within HR Operations of our Central Faculty and Research Operations and Strategy business areas. The Opportunity: Applications are invited for this exciting role working within the Human Resources Department based in Edinburgh. As hybrid working arrangements are currently in place, flexibility of location may be considered. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner the post holder will have operational responsibility for HR service provision covering the end to end employment cycle within their aligned Division and will work closely with their aligned Divisional Directors and Divisional Management Teams, influencing the Divisional business strategy and steering its implementation as well as developing appropriate People Plans that promote a high performance culture, identifies and develops talent and creates an environment where people are engaged, motivated, rewarded and given opportunity to innovate and excel. This will include line management responsibility for an HR Advisor. Please note that this is fixed term contract for up to one year.
