Collections Manager - Full Time - Permanent - Centrally Located To effectively oversee the recovery of outstanding accounts, the successful candidate will manage the collection processes for all active contracts within the organization and its associated entities. This involves reducing overdue payments and mitigating financial impacts by ensuring diligent case management throughout the lifecycle. Collaboration is key, requiring strong teamwork with both internal staff and external partners to achieve positive outcomes. Additionally, thorough analysis of reports and case studies is essential to fully grasp team dynamics and account statuses, enabling precise targeting of efforts. This insight allows for clear communication of performance metrics to senior management and informs strategic decisions that enhance overall results. Duties: Lead and steer team performance, ensuring behaviours align with departmental goals and tracking progress. Provide comprehensive training and coaching to employees, while developing a talent pipeline for future needs. Analyse and adjust strategies based on data trends Optimize outcomes before involving external parties, thereby managing costs and provisions. Manage the Operational Impact Procedure, documenting and advancing process changes that affect performance, by collaborating with department heads. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaborative success. Conduct control checks and quality audits to ensure compliance with regulations, addressing any identified risks. Keep procedures current with regulatory changes and ensure the team is well-informed, especially regarding the FCA's Consumer Duty requirements.
