This position also actively participates in significant finance projects, encompassing but not limited to systems implementation, finance transformation initiatives, and transactions related to shareholders.
This role plays a pivotal part in furnishing critical strategic insights to Regional Managing Directors empowering informed decision-making and enhancing overall business performance.
With a team of 6 qualified accountants and reporting into the Group Finance Director the GFC is responsible for the external reporting, shareholder reporting, technical accounting, implementation of appropriate policies, procedures, and processes to ensure an effective control environment across the Group.

The purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day activities of the accounting functions across various jurisdictions to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance improvement of their newly implemented system, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
The successful candidate will we be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with 5-10 years PQE with strong exposure to multi-currency, complex intercompany transactions with experience working with emerging markets being an advantage.
