Summary We are looking for a Rural Surveyor to help us manage our diverse let estate portfolio in the Yorkshire Dales. Supporting the Estate Manager, you will mainly be looking after the Malham Tarn and Upper Wharfedale estates. Joining our team, you'll take on interesting rural surveying work that will help us to deliver sustainable land and property management, for everyone, for ever. You'll particularly focus on our Landscape Recovery Scheme bid. The role may be full time or part time (subject to a minimum of 20 hours per week) and we are open to discussing different working patterns for part time work. Your contractual place of work will be either York, Manchester or Grasmere, or at our office at Malham Tarn near Settle. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. We'll talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 4060% of your working week. Due to the travel required for this role, you must hold a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle (business mileage is claimable through expenses). This is a fixed term contract until the end of June 2026. We are offering a salary circa £40,000 (pro rata if part time) per annum. Manage the contractors to ensure SLA compliance takes place and escalate any non-adherence to your line manager. Carry out daily quality calls with the policyholders, to ensure that they are satisfied with their repair progression. Provide updates to Management on contractor performance, as well an any improvements you think would benefit our current process. About you Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills. A background and/or understanding of insurance repair work - this is essential for the role. Experience of providing technical building support advice to policy holders training will be provided however previous knowledge would be helpful. Experience of arranging appointments, liaising with vulnerable customers and a calm methodical approach to prioritising urgent repairs. The ability to put yourself in the policy holders position and manage challenging conversations. Ability to work as an individual and also work with a team of professionals. I am looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to work on a large build scheme in Manchester. The Senior Site Engineer manages the engineering function as the senior representative, co-ordinates with the line manager and provides Engineering Leadership for their respective project(s). Sets the strategy for Engineering setting out and onsite control, along with the (Engineer/Assistant Engineer) and subordinates/supply chain. Is the primary point of reference for QA, record keeping and production ensuring the establishment and maintenance of the Sisk Quality procedures and requirements. Key Responsibilities Competent and demonstrates advanced awareness in the best forms of dimensional control and is comfortable in rotating global grids into local grid format Ensures that site and graduate engineers take responsibility for the management of survey equipment Ensures that the engineering team completes as-built surveys for key elements. Understands key tolerances and can analyse details across a number of interfaces to highlight potential problems Completes an individual daily diary Competent in the principles of quality control for the majority of packages. Can review and create Inspection & Test Plans.
