As the Senior Graphic Designer, the successful candidate deliver high-quality creative ideas and graphic design as part of Human Appeal's Communications support team, producing all design related work for Human Appeal including producing creative and innovative campaign material across print and creative campaign ideas (manage design projects from concept to completion) in order to promote brand awareness, acquire feedback and donations. Key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Graphic Designer: Oversee all design elements, from the initial conception to final delivery Review the work of Junior and Middleweight Designers to give guidance and feedback Use your strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product Listen to design and video needs, come up with ideas and communicate them to clients and other members of the team Collaborate across the organisation to drive up standards of design creativity standards Produce creative and innovative campaign material Improve quality control and standards Create campaign/ events/ challenges, programmes ideas and ensure all work meets deadlines and adheres to the company's visual identity criteria and strategy Liaise between the marketing, fundraising and other departments and design teams to ensure deadlines are met Manage design projects from concept to completion in a timely fashion Keeping up-to-date with industry developments, trends and donor behaviour change and keep the creative team and stakeholders up to date Work closely with creative lead, project manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure work is produced to specification and quality Support the Creative Manager in creative brainstorming sessions What we're looking for in our Senior Graphic Designer: Degree (or equivalent) in Art, Design / Creative / Graphic Design, Production and Brand Management, or relevant experience Essential: 3 years of related experience, e.g. film, photography, design, etc. Experience using project management tools, e.g. Asana Demonstrated experience of leading and managing teams to provide creative direction and coaching. Strong understanding of effective Creative Design practices, trends, techniques, and processes across various touchpoints or mediums (e.g. packaging, in-store, print, direct) A passion for charity and humanitarian work. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe & Internet applications Advanced MAC programme skills English essential. Knowledge of additional languages such as Arabic/Urdu/Bengali/Gujarati/ Hindi/Punjabi an advantage.
