Overview: We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. The successful candidate will work on the overall ecommerce strategy and support the Ecommerce Manager in the delivery of the roadmap. We are looking for someone who is passionate about social media. You will build the social content calendar for each platform, coming up with exciting, engaging trend-led content ideas and working alongside the team to ensure these ideas come to life. You will help to grow each platform, carrying out daily audience engagement and keeping an eye out for micro influencer opportunities. Location: Windmill Lane, Cheshunt, Borough of Broxbourne in Hertfordshire, EN8 9AQ Responsibilities & Duties: Day-to-day running of our social media accounts including Facebook & Instagram Content creation for blogs, guides & landing pages Ensure content is well researched, well written & presented, complies with company branding, and adheres to our social media and content marketing strategy Assist in the production of how-to' videos and post on our YouTube channel Day-to-day running of our YouTube channel SEO update on-page content which focusses on specific keywords, plus meta titles & descriptions. Ensure all pages are SEO friendly and that content supports the overall SEO strategy Assist in writing product descriptions for our website and marketplaces e.g. Amazon and eBay, adhering to best practices and guidelines What we are looking for: Skills and experience: Demonstrate excellent written communication skills and set standards to ensure appropriate content, messaging, tone and consistency in media communication Have excellent social media understanding and knowledge and be aware of spotting and reacting to emerging trends on the main social media channels A good understanding of social media is needed, with proven experience of social media marketing Knowledge of SEO and ecommerce/digital marketing in general would be an advantage You will be a confident, creative and experienced communicator who can quickly get to grips with fast moving and complex issues. You will take an audience focused approach to your work Entry requirements: 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
