It is a varied and satisfying role where you will work in the heart of the neighbourhood, ensuring good standards of cleanliness is maintained in the communal areas within the Council blocks of flats. You will be responsible for: - Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in communal areas for walk up blocks and tower blocks. - Making sure that the external surroundings are kept clear and tidy from obstructions and litter. - Take responsibility of cleaning equipment and identify and report any faults. - Follow Health & Safety procedures and report any issues accordingly to enable the residents to live in a safe environment. - To be part of the housing management team, to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all the residents. Job to start ASAP (immediate start) and will be Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00. You must be able to drive as will be required to work all over Southampton in various locations / council buildings.
