General Accountant Manager - What you'll Be doing each day: The General Accountant will support the Local Accounting and Direct Tax team that leverage accounting, analysis, communication and stewardship skills, and partners with external and internal contacts to produce and submit financial statements and tax returns that are compliant with the local regulations for each country. Using local financial data, you will submit statistical reporting to government bodies as required by each country. You will apply specialised tax knowledge to create and submit the tax returns for each LE based on the local financial statements, providing audit support, and ensuring all direct tax payments are paid on time. General Accountant Manager - Main responsibilities: Producing and submitting financial statements and tax returns. Ensuring financial statements and tax returns are compliant with the local regulations for each country. Ensuring all direct tax payments are paid on time. Tax reporting analysis. Updating financial spreadsheets. Providing general administrative support. General Accountant Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed: SAP knowledge Professional accounting qualification e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA or CAT / AAT with relevant work experience Strong Excel skills including Advanced Analysis for Office - required. Strong general accounting knowledge - required. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong operational discipline to meet tight external reporting deadlines. Flexible approach and agility to be able to work with multiple countries / pieces of work to meet specific reporting deadlines. Problem solving. Strong communication and customer service skills (they will be working directly with Local Finance and Tax Managers in various locations).
