The temporary accommodation health and safety compliance officer will lead the council's compliance processes to ensure the control, co-ordination and verification of compliance certification and to ensure the councils legal responsibility to health and safety are met.
Register and assess housing applicants on the Housing Registrations database, to make a final decision on their eligibility to join or remain on the Housing List in accordance with Council policy, procedures and housing legislation.
We require the successful candidate to have experience in processing housing applications for a local authority, who understands the relationship between the decisions they make and that of the Housing Allocations scheme which governs them.
Provided detailed advice to service users and external agencies regarding priority for housing as outlined in the Council's allocations scheme and relevant to their circumstances.
