This charity is seeking 2 careers advisors. One based in Slough, and the other in Reading. They are a lovely organisation to work for (Investors in People Gold). And if you prefer part time instead of full time, they can look at that too. They are seeking people with experience within the employability / careers sector to work on their national careers service contract. Typically, you will deliver 3 4 sessions per day mostly from community settings (so libraries, JCP, LA offices etc). The aim being to deliver IAG sessions, so participants leave the session with an action plan to move them towards education or employment. Established Employment Advisors start on £25, 800, and those with an IAG 4 / 6 can start higher up the scale with the top end being £31k (for level 4). If you don't have a careers advice qualification, this charity will pay for this and your pay will increase accordingly. Although the roles are based in Slough and Reading, the contract is Berkshire, so you will need to be flexible to go to other locations in the county if there is a need (i.e. referrals numbers change). This role can be offered full time, or part time 3 4 days per week (but the days must be within the working week Mon to Fri, 9 5). To apply, you might have experience of working as an Employment Advisor, Job Coach, Careers Advisor, Employer Engagement Consultant or similar. Please apply via this advert we aim to get back to everyone. If by chance no one has got back to you within 48 hours, please call the office and ask for James, or enter your details on the Contact Us page on the Red 5 People website and it will not take long for someone to get back to you. If you do receive an email to say we do not feel your CV is the right match, the email will also tell you how you can receive extra feedback.
