Description We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Import Assistant Merchandiser to join our team at Footasylum. You will work closely with the Supply Chain and Merchandising team to manage Supply Chain Operations and Own Brand production/delivery, utilising your attention to detail and an understanding of the knock on effects of every task undertaken. The role is varied and will include: Weekly Maintenance on Supply chain Critical Path adding new orders, removing receipted and uploading revised dates into the system Chase weekly factory Critical Paths updating approvals and revised dates flagging to Senior team any risks on Launch for styles Ensure documentation for import/export shipments is accurate for all Freight movements Perform regular analysis, reconciliations, problem solving and progress chasing of all shipments and invoices. Understand financial documents and work with the Accounts team to manage payments and invoices Work closely with the freight forwarders and suppliers Airfreight quotes and approval request Instructions of clearance to forwarder customs Intake bookings as per styles confirmed ETA Develop awareness of product area through Cads / Range Plan Work close to the Product development team on CP approval dates Manage a document filing system The Teams The Merchandise team is an extended family split into departments, you will get to know the wider team but also across the departments. The departments are split to focus down on certain areas such as Apparel, Footwear and Accessories, DTC, Wholesale and SEVENSTORE. You will have the chance to work across branded suppliers and own brand supply chain.
