Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee The opportunity Following sustained growth plans in the business, we are looking for aSales and Development Manager to join our growing Automotive Protection team where you will play a key part in expanding upon and managing our existing major client relationships across the West-London and or South-West England geographical regions. You will support the General Manager and wider team in delivering on the country strategy, working collaboratively with country and global Automotive teams to deliver an end customer experience that is fully aligned with the business strategies. Your new role Delivery of new and existing business sales targets and plans to develop the Automotive Protection offering. Research of local market, customers, distribution channels and network contacts to execute pipeline new business opportunities. Continuously monitor and ensure program progress is on target and any deviations from plan are identified and solutions implemented. Participate in meetings as required to support the development of strategy, provide updates on new business development, and launched programs. Provide customer and market updates and other relevant input during budgeting process. Support the General Manger in planning and implementing strategies to build and retain customers, achieving production, profitability targets as well as performance objectives. Regularly review income and loss ratio performance on business, aligning with the underwriting team to make sure it is line with business plan. If necessary, take the remedial actions to ensure that we deliver on the business plan. Support the launch of new programs, ensuring all terms of cover, processes and procedures are implemented accurately within agreed timescales and in accordance with requirements. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders including customers, partners, and colleagues to support constructive relationships, ensuring services provided continually support business needs. Utilise the escalation process where necessary to ensure any issues/problems are resolved promptly. Contribute towards business planning and reforecasting, program analysis and management reporting. Mentor and coach team to support their personal and professional development and support their career aspirations. About you Demonstrable experience in the motor trade/automotive industry. Previous experience in sales and account management. Ability to prioritize, achieve targets and agreed deadlines. Stakeholder management at all levels. Why QBE??
