FMCG Product Packaging SME Duration: 12 months contract Pay: £20/hour Travel: 30-50% of the time Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Key Tasks on the role Providing support to the Europe Packaging manager on a daily basis as needed From time to time acting as Technical project leader / Packaging workstream leader for key packaging projects in the UK Developing and designing packaging to the packaging action standards for each packaging material Responsible for the creation, development and completion of packaging specifications and P&Ps (Packaging & Palletisation specs) in the company data system for all key innovations, redesigns or activities for packaging. Skills and Experience Experienced packaging engineer/developer/ designer for 3 years. Experienced in dealing with different packaging materials particularly paper and board, flexibles and aseptic packaging. Fluent in English Basic awareness in business acumen e.g. cost of goods, gross margins etc Minimum 3 years in FMCG/Retail Minimum Bachelors Degree in packaging materials, engineering, design or equivalent Knowledge of teabag materials and technologies preferable Who we are looking for the role Great communicator, able to efficiently manage multiple stakeholders at local, regional and global level. Problem solving skills, great at troubleshooting various issues People centric, consumer centric and customer centric - ability to create and maintain relationships organically Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects with excellent time management skills

What You Can Expect Work Type - 12-month fixed term contract Location -Watford (2 day per week) Industry - Gambling Salary - £30k - £40k plus benefits Main Responsibilities as a PMO Support Partner Assist in ensuring project management practices, processes and standards are followed in line with project & programme governance. Apply industry best practice to develop the company's Centre of Excellence for Project, Programme and Portfolio Management Use frameworks to manage project and programme risk & issue mitigations. Ensure adherence and compliance to established processes, procedures, governance, and controls. Meeting preparation for Exec/Steering group meetings including minute and action taking. Provide support for training to orientate Programme teams to the ways of working of the PMO. Support Project/Programme portfolios to enable the delivery of projects to time, budget and quality objectives. Experience & Skills Required 2 years of experience in a project support role Knowledge of end to end project management/support Knowledge of Project Planning Experience handling risks and issues within projects Prince 2 or PMP Certification (desirable) What's in it For You?
